Abta has unveiled bosses from three specialist suppliers who will share their expertise about trends on a panel at next month’s Travel Convention.

‘The road ahead – the specialist view’ panel discussion will feature Alex Delamere White, chief operating officer at HX Expeditions; Kelly Jackson, managing director at The Travel Corporation (TTC); and Jamie Loizou, managing director at AmaWaterways.

The session will be moderated by Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief at Travel Weekly.

At last year’s Convention, PwC reported that investors were most interested in travel companies offering experiential, luxury, and sustainable travel; companies attracting the silver market; and those targeting younger markets, such as Gen Z.

This year, the panel will explore those growing trends for differentiated, and often slower, forms of travel and how the industry is evolving to meet this demand.

Delegates will discover who these travellers are, what drives their choices, how to engage with them and the opportunities this presents for their business.

The 2025 Travel Convention will take place at the four-star Melia Calvia Beach Resort, with content focused on four pillars: Our world; Our industry; Your business; and Your network.

The event will be held in partnership with easyJet holidays, with support from headline partners Global and Intrepid Travel. Travel Weekly will again be the trade media partner.
